What about a PREQUEL

Post by Blackonblack »

I've seen lots of opinions in this forum, already, but I myself have got one:

I would like to see also a Prequel, not a Sequel to Mad Max. Something set in the years before the story we already know happened, showing Max and Goose as policemen chasing bikers all around. I loved the story of Mad MAx, but most of all I loved the special care and interest for reality put in the pursuits of the first film. I've read a lot here about that ...they seem to have reached up to 260 Km/h filming it...awesome!

Many people here loved the MFP cars and all about that special Highway Police....why not take that route?

I would love to see more MadMax films, be them in the future or in the past! And the prequels have also one interesting advantange: You could take a new actor to play Max's role. OK,OK, I know that many people can't imagine anyone else as Max, but hey! the same happened with Sean Connery playing James Bond.

I would like to have Max films 4 ever! Why having to stick to Gibson's wishes?

So, what do you think about it?

A prequel? .. then we must go to the obviousness that Mel will be able to play only ... his own father ...
I could probably make it on my own, but I like you kids.

Did Gibson say something about future films besides Fury Road; what are his "wishes"?
We don't need another hero...we've got MAD MAX

Hey, not bad idea Bubba:

" I remember his brown shoes while we were walking around...." that's what Max tells Jesse about his father when they are at holiday ( At least in the spanish version ).

Look, we've already an important dressing piece: Brown shoes!

LOL, just a joke....

Yep, you're right....but I said before I have no problem of seeing another one playing Max instead of Mel. Anyway, sooner or later he'll have to quit, or? You really don't expect him fighting with 72 years, like Paul Newman is today ?

What I want to see is more MM films, not the series dying with Mel.

Ok....
