Mad Max Vehicles in a game

Heh, TDR 2000 rocks. As I was snapping some screen captures todayu, I caught pre-apocolypse vs. post-apocolypse Max duking it out.

I was driving the MFP car. It was pretty cool though as I snapped one screen save, I got the game in mid-render, so only part of the Black on Black was drawn out. The tires and doors were missing for an instant. You can see the frame, axle, and driver - appears to be wearing all black leather, heh heh. Anyway, you can see who the victor of that battle was.

I wish I could play TDR2000...but this install of Windows doesn't like my USB joystick :(

I had the same problem with my new computer, so my beloved Sidewinder was thrown in the closet. After a little practice a keyboard/mouse combo is actually better. Mouselook while driving helps so much. Here's my keyboard setup:

E - forward

D - brake/reverse

S - turn left

F - turn right

Spacebar - handbrake

C - cockpit view

L - mouselook toggle

G - recover

Q - previous powerup

W - next powerup

A - use powerup

Z - use mission powerup

V - flap doors

Mouse

Button 1 - repair

Button 2 - wheelspin

No way - the keyboard control ROCKS for all Carmageddons! Gotta love that spacebar for the handbrake... Image
