The Dark One

Hello Loner here, as we know the character of Dark One features in the first Mad Max novel but was dropped from the movie or was he???.


Remember in the novel that after Max & Jessie discover the severed hand Max contacts the Police & shortly a battered Police vehicle driven by the legendary Dark One arrives.


Now in the movie the character who is clearly a Police Officer arrives in the somewhat battered hot rod, could it be possibile that he is in fact Dark One, as far as i remember this character had no name, but by his actions & appearence was clearly a Police Officer, I am interested in hearing other's view's on this subject.

They did call him by name....but that is certinaly the place in the book that the dark one shows up in the flesh (I think the only one), and if I rember the film dialog correctly max does say..."May go call the dark one".





But the charcter uses a diffrent name for himslef.... cant rember what it is. Now I have to go watch MM 1 again.......... COOL!!!!!!!

His name in the US dubbed version is ZIGGY. But I'm not that sure if Ziggy is really the Dark One.
