Ehm... the kid making faces was FINN MCCOO, Savannah's little child. Lately, he will die in the sand suckhole, and Max couldn't make anything to save him.

Ehmmmm2 ... the kid cutting the rope was Mr.Skyfish. lately, he cut the iron bar surrounding Ironbar Bassey. Great scene.

How hell did "Gekko" go involved in a Blackfinger discussion?

Anyway yes, Blackfinger's body is more resistent than an human one's. That's why he "held" togheter the JUNK TRAIN.

something to think about... a couple of people have compared ANGRY ANDERSON'S life, exploits and everything to IRONBARS, meaning angry being a badarse contributes to ironbar being a badarse. well what if we do that with BLACKFINGER, cause i'm sure anyone out there with kids can surely remember GEORGE from the aussie kids show PLAYSCHOOL, yep thats right BLACKFINGER was on PLAYSCHOOL, in the early 90's, i'm not sure when he stopped being on it, but he was on for a long time, was kind of cool too, like JOHN anyone remember john on playschool, the guy that did jokes for the parents benefit as well as the kids?

Don't get me wrong i agree that blackfinger is a bad sonofabitch, he approached max with that shotgun, and racked it hard, prepairing to blow max away if aunty had said so, but like ironbar he was too comical...

Rockatansky your posts are insightful and entertaining.

You provoke a thought. If Wez really was all that badass, why did he turn and leave Max at Lookout Point? Max was alone. Wez was alone, Golden Youth doesn't count unles he was going to do Max's hair and nails.

So why did Wez turn around? I love that scene. It is one that defines Max's character. I see it as " come'on lets see what you got..let's dance you and I, lol"

Max comes on strong and Wez runs. A few scenes later is when you see Wez "yelling" at Humungus. Its been my impression that Wez was telling Humungus about Max and the wrecks, yet Hum was demanding Wez to shut up, follow orders and invade/harrass the compound with the others.

firstly, was IRONBAR in ROSE TATTOO, or was ANGRY ANDERSON.

secondly, okay your arm has a huge hole in it, and though you enjoy pain, it's throbbing away, and out in that environment gangreen could set in in day's if you don't get the f**k out and tend to your wound, plus your gauntlet crossbow doesn't have that much power so once you fire it at max and maybe miss, it could take up to 5 full seconds to reload it quickly, max could nail you with the first shot, and even if he did miss, he could have another shell in that gun, to nail you with the second, Wez thinks the gun is loaded, now add all that up, i know i'd ride off.

And as i've pointed out before, when wez argues with humungus it's a few days later, wez hasen't just come from the confrontation with max. But i will give you, that maybe wez has been on the road a few days like max, and just got back to regroup, and is explaining everything, but i don't think so...

Exactly my point. Wez was more berzerk when he had a mob backing him up . If Wez was really the badass everyone thinks he is, wounds, no wounds, arrows no arrows he would, have confronted Max. I never figured Wez for much of a planner, perhaps he was.
