THE FURY ROAD UNIVERSE

2023 - Maximilian Rockatansky/Mad Max is born.
2027 - Furiosa Jabassa is born, during the apocalypse known as "The Fall" (33 years before FR).
2037 - Furiosa is kidnapped by Dr. Dementus. She's 10, as reported by official reviews. In FR, Valkyrie claimed that she stopped counting the days of Furiosa's absence after 7,000 (= 19 years). FR is set 23 years after the abduction, indeed.
2043 - Young Max joins a tribe of former Policemen known as Road Warriors. They gradually train him and turn him into a skilled "vigilante" of the Wasteland.
2050 - The tribe of the Road Warriors dissipates. However, Max still keeps the ''Interceptor'' which they gave him.
2052 - The main events of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Furiosa is 25. She also "meets" Max (29 years old) for the very first time.
2055 - Following some tragic events, Max goes crazy.
2060 - The events of Mad Max: Fury Road. Max is 37 years old. Furiosa is 33 years old.


I love having that gap of 8 years inbetween the movies. So you get a plausible transition between Anya and Charlize, as well as further development of the character.
The 15 years timespan is specifically related to Furiosa's story (2037-2052).

I respect and appreciate your efforts to solve the riddle of the F/FR timeline! However, I don't much care for the idea of Max being the product of a vigilante tribe who fancied themselves to be cops, but really weren't.

I feel it is completely central to Max's identity that he remembered life before the apocalypse, and that he was an officer of a real police force, serving a real government and an actual civilization, which was later destroyed.

I'm not sure how to square this with the age of Tom Hardy in FR, or with Furiosa's age at the time of the apocalypse, but it seems the only workable solution would be that a national government, and cities, clung to existence on Australia's coasts while the vast outback concurrently fell to rapid desertification and lawlessness.

OR they were Policemen before the apocalypse. The Interceptor was built before The Fall.
