1/6 Nux

Post by Switchum »

So I got more commission job from Roswell Japan. They seem to be super happy with the 1979 MM poster figure I did. This time, it's Nux. They sent me this picture

I guess they want something like this but I have more freedom this time. They want the blood infusion wristlet and the steering wheelfor sure.

As Nicholas is the same height as Hugh Keays-Byrne, I am aiming to make him about the same height.
Not much to look at right now but...

As usual, I would appreciate any help on references. Been collecting screen caps from the movie but still not sure how his pants are....

Thanks for looking!

Thanks Turbofurball.
I have been pulling screen caps from the movie; collecting references. His pants is still mystery. I might have to do some suggesting on details.

Anyway, put some hours on the sculpt. I am gonna try not to make him look too ripped like the illustration.

Yeah, that was the only still I could find that shows any real detail on the trousers. FWIW I don't think they're super important because they just don't show in most of the closeups of him, even in the Max / Furiosa fight scene it centers on his torso, so any artistic license you flex can't be picked apart.

I am sure that the pants would change scene by scene just like Furiosa's was. And my client wouldn't too much care if th details of the pants is bit off.
But I always want to make my mad max related sculpt as screen accurate as possible, you know?
Been spending time on likeness. A lot more to go...
