OK Who should be cast.....

Post by jmu2000 »

Hello

I have been thinking about who should be cast in MM4. A strong leader of the bad guys (Anthony Hopkins perhaps?) and good quality character actors are needed, not whoever happens to be in favour in Hollywood at the moment although I wouldn't mind seeing Leonardo DiCaprio in it just to see him get mashed up badly in a wreck in the opening scene!

Should there be a place for Bruce Spence again either as a new character or reving the Gyro Captain/Jedidiah? Also any of the other actors/actresses from the previous films reprising characters?

Hi,

Anthony Hopkins should certainly be in the movie.

I would like to see Tom Cruise eliminated early.

What about Billy Idol as Mr. Nasty?

Take care.

Most of the other actors in the movie are probably gonna be no-names. They can only afford so many stars, ya know? I'd like to see Bruce Spence come back. What about some people from the first movie?

Steve Bisley would be cool. (and would really cream Rio's twinky) Always been a big fan of Michael Bien, he has that gritty personality, much like Gibson. Otherwise, no name actors often tend to give a film more of a sense of reality. Most of the people in the films (Gibson included) were/are unknowns in the film industry. Even Tina Turner, a well known face, had never done any acting before or since. (correct me if i'm wrong)

I say use new talent. Give some rising Aussie actors a shot! (oh, and me. I want in.)

It would be great to see an actor from the first two movies, you know....Steve Bisley, Vernon Wells, Bruce Spence.....or Fifi !!

Why not Temuera Morrison (Jango Fett in SW) as a bad guy? And a lot of no-name actors, like in the previous Mad Max movies with a "never seen before face". Otherwise, a very popular star can bring back the feeling of Entity, who was very hard to beat in BTD, was she?
I could probably make it on my own, but I like you kids.

I just hope they don't throw in a lot of annoying teenagers. Kids are ruining movies nowadays. I'll accept a single feral kid, but that's it.

To continue the series with that REAL mad max feel, casting hollywood known actors i feel would seperate the movie from what we have come to expect, to use talented aussie unknowns or up and coming aussie talent as in the previous films gives it that raw feel which as we know is what makes these films as good as they are. Bad guys like the toecutter and wez were fresh and original and believable, you throw sir Anthony in as a bad guy and you end up with a leather clad hanibal. You want to feel when watching the film that these characters come across as real and believable and not just acting another part.
