AIM/ YIM chat

Hey guys,

I just wanted to say that while I don't mind a chat, Iet's get one thing very very straight. I'm not looking for a date (i'm involved) and I'm sure as heck not gonna say where I live, so DONT ASK.... I have to say that so far everyone here has been totally on the level and very friendly, so please don't think of this as me sitting everyone down, okay? (Interdictor, we'll chat soon, K!?

So what does AIM/YIM mean? Some kinda instant messaging? I'm SO behind the curve. But as they say, there are no stupid questions. Just stupid people...

AIM is Aol instant messenger and YIM is yahoo instant messenger. Very handy for chatting in real time while online.

I don't particularly like being asked a bunch of questions too, Rio. I know what you mean. I chat on AIM and MSN a few times a week. Mitch, you ever sign up for MSN like you mentioned?

Looks like I did... Magic word box says I need to add Online Contacts before I can chat. What else do I need to do?
