MM1 Interceptor build

Post by Hetzer »

Hi there!

It's been a while since I last posted here and no, Cranky Frank isn't done yet :D But, I'm participating this group build starting february and I decided finally build MM1 version of Interceptor. And what I need is some measurements/drawings of front spoiler, preferably metric but that's not mandatory. Trunk lid shouldn't be problem since I have already made one for Landau. So if someone can help me out that would be great.

I made this for you, hopefully it's accurate enough. of course, i couldn't find my calipers to give accurate measurements, so had to use a tape measure :?
These are from the 1/24 transkit for the Aoshima kit.

Hey thanks mate, those should work just fine. I have some pics of 1/18 AutoArt Interceptor with front bits in place, so I think I'm now set. Btw, has anyone found suitable replacement tires for Aoshima kit? I tried to find some when I build MM2 version but no luck.

Can't tell which of the numerous versions this is, but I do have those final version photo etch bits and I definitely will use whatever I can of those.

Car also needs upholstery for roof, Imade this from original kit part and evergreen sheet and tamiya masking tape as fabric. Now all it needs A-pillar pieces and some nice off white color to complete it.
