You will have to produce the evidence in order to convince anyone.

I don't understand why dubbing it in german would also now include 'extra' footage.... I mean, it was also dubbed with US actors (and sound effects) and nothing there was any different than the Aussie version. Not saying it's impossible though as the film "running on empty' has a couple of scenes that the US version (known as 'fast lane fever') did not have. Ihave a beta version of MM1 (thanks to Mark Scar) and it's no different than what we all have seen on the DVD releases.

Here are at least four other people who remember the quick shot of Goose's face:

hey dude there was a time here where fans could quote film call sheets, filming scripts and other info to back their position. These days they are called 'know alls' and accused of bashing fans who dont get it correct. Just like the old story of the biker who was killed filming MM1 on Kirks Bridge, let the urban myth continue, I would hate to be classed as a know all. Let the ignorance of the masses be the yard stick. Forget the work that went into finding the truth people dont care, just dont contradict the masses with facts. Anyway why be bothered with details, who cares?

Ha. The solution to the mystery occurred to me. Miller being a physician himself, with all the stunts being real, he must have actually 'procured' a real burnt-up car accident victim for this shot (to god I hope the body was already dead) from his local hospital. If he had left it in the VHS, people could have analyzed it and realized it was real. He would have had to release the real victims name, and the whole thing was probably illegal somehow.

This thing again?
Well, let me burst your bubble and put those rumors to rest once and for all.
First of all, I'm not sure if any of you actually read the script for Mad Max, but there are no mentions of any of those scenes in it. Sure there are some scenes that were cut out from the movie but Miller had to carefully pick and plan each scene for filming because of the low budget. There was no place for extra shots, let alone special effects involving Goose's burnt face. I'm not sure if you knew this but the Toecutter's dummy used for the truck stunt is literally a store mannequin. The Nightrider's girl dummy in the Nightrider car stunt is the same dummy that gets shot in the face on the beach. Goose's arm is Sheila Florance's (May Swaisey) with make up on - that's how low on budget they were when it comes to special effects. And the idea that they would've used an acutal burn victim's face in the movie is preposterous. Besides the scene in the script plays out almost exactly like in the movie: Same deal with Johnny's supposed shot of him cutting off his leg. No such thing in the script. The screams, however are in there but no gruesome shot of him cutting anything. Besides why would Miller want to show it? On multiple occasions he said he prefers implied violence rather than straight up gore on the screen - it goes against everything he stands for. But I digress, here's the part of the script: The next shot is of Max driving away in the BoB.
So there you go, here's my proof, already 2 more than the people who perpetuate this bullshit story.

This reminds me of the Star Wars fans who swear they remember seeing the cut "Biggs" scene on Tatooine, when in fact what they remember are a few shots of that scene used in the TV documentary that screened at the same time.
What no one has mentioned is that it might be possible someone has pirated a print or copy of the film and inserted their own shot?, I have heard of this happening in some countries with some films when distributors "alter" movies,
in the film days it would not have been difficult to cut up reels etc. in this manner. Malaysia (and other countries) bluntly does this with US film prints all the time and these prints are then no good for exhibiting in the next country.
