you probably couldn't care less , but can I please say that's the best comment I've read in ages.......perfectly articulated response to loving Thunderdome. Robot Jox is going straight into the repertoire !

Hey, I'm new too.

I'm tied between 4 and 2 for first place. I enjoy 70s and 80s movies much more than any other decades in film, but Fury Road made me learn to love again - or love what can be done with movies now if someone pulls their finger out. And it expanded on ideas in Thunderdome that weren't too satisfying in the end and made them satisfying. So as much as TRW is hard to top, Fury Road is neck and neck with it for me. Not a replacement for it, because I still love me TRW in terms of visuals/filming style and stunts.

Then 1, unfortunately the copy I had was stuck in a pile and given away by my flatmate, and I just ordered it again after some time not having it around. I missed it.

Then the one that went under the wheels. Nah, I'd rather watch TD more than some of the stuff I end up having to sit through these days.

I love them all, but FURY ROAD by a landslide!

My picks would be 2 and 1 tied, 4 and 3.

The "future vision" of 1 & 2 is unsurpassed, classic sci-fi.

4 (Fury Road) is the best film so far this century.

3 is generally a good movie in terms of the concept, just aimed at the wrong audience.
Looks like I got me some guzzoline eh....V-8?
