Hello all, I was hoping someone could help me in locating a model kit of either of the Interceptor versions 1 or 2. I've been searching with no luck. I found one through Amazon, not realizing it would be shipped from Japan, and ordered it. I was contacted and told my purchase was refunded ( luckily ), as the seller was out of stock. I won't try again as I might not be so lucky the second time. Most of the reviews I read about the other overseas sellers were horrible. Ebay has nothing. Any help, please, in finding one.
The one I tried to buy was the version 2, Road Warrior, from Ashoima. Thanks

Re: Interceptor model kit
They went out of production years ago , you will only find them for top dollar occasionally on Ebay , closest you will get is a resin kit from here http://www.thepartsbox.com/store/index.php

Yup not hard to find just real expensive when you do.
one reason I don't have one. I'm cheap. and I've been waiting for one to show up for the right price.
I will happen I'm sure of that the way I get around. I just don't know when.
One place I am hoping to score one might be the Chiller convention that is at the end of April about 2 hours from me.
Don't know if I'm going as a spectator or a reseller yet though I still have to talk to GEOmetrics and see .

If you can find a convention like above ( toys/models) you can get a lot of one off's and make connections to get the HTF and rare stuff.
The connections are the GREAT part as it puts you in the "know" and alot of times if you are looking for something they will contact you with it or it's location.
Keep looking you will find one.

For what it's worth, i asked Aoshima on their facebook page if they'd considered doing a Mad Max 1 variant. they said they wanted to, it was just a matter of demand and licensing restrictions.
a few other box variations

Where are you located? that might help us locate one near you. I'm sure you are aware now that you'll probably have to get one shipped from overseas, like Japan (since Aoshima is japanese) as you've missed out on the last release (a year or two ago).driver744 wrote:The one I tried to buy was the version 2, Road Warrior, from Ashoima.
