Question about the final crash in MM3

Just one of the most impressive car stunts/crashes ever seen in any movie. IMPRESSIVE. WONDERFUL!

I've just seen a movie-still and noticed that Max's car crashed in the cockpit of Ironbar's BIG FOOT vehicle, and NOT the entire BIG FOOT vehicle was "lifted" in the air along with Max's car anyway. Just the cockpit (with Ironbar inside). Am I right? We don't see two vehicles raising in the air, just Max's car and some generic wreck in front of it........

Yep, you're right. Just like with a few crashes in MM movies, the Big Foot was stationary and dismantled for the effect. When Max hits it the car splits in half in a spectacular way. With clever editing you never notice the Big Foot was stationary.
The cool thing is that they rebuilt this car and it's the only car from MMBT that exists today, it's in Adelaide I think.

What I was trying to explain is that "IN-FICTION" it looks like Max's car (which I nicknamed Powderbeast eons ago) destroyed the vehicle and just brought with it the cockpit with Ironbar inside. That's why in the very end you only see Powderbeast and Ironbar in the relatively small wreckage below Powderbeast.

I can remember a picture of Max's car in a museum of some sort. Does this car no longer exists? It had the least damage of the two. Only the right front wheel broken off, if I remember correctly from the Blu-ray.

The picture you mentioned was probably taken at Melbourne Motor Show in 1985, right after the movie's premiere, along with a couple other vehicles. My guess is that Max's Camel Wagon was destroyed too, I'm 100% sure that's what happened to the Lone Wolf Machine. Other vehicles never resurfaced, they were most likely destroyed.
