Was searching on google images and came across this from an official Warner Bros. site. At the bottom is a gallery of a bunch of never seen pics from "Mad Max 2" and "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome" :

I have a heap of behind the scenes thunderdome pics, just need a scanner thing to copy them properly as the negatives were destroyed as directed by george

Funny seeing that shot of Mel from MM2 with the blanket wrapped around him. George Miller mentions in the commentary track for MM2 that it was a very cold shoot and that Mel was usually wrapped in a blanket when the camera's weren't rolling.
