Stuff I noticed:

* When the Buzzard's War Rig-like monster machine gets asploded, it tears off one of the War Rig's buggy/truck-fused halves that act as little guard towers and storage rooms. While it's supposed to look like the excavator scoop rips it off, you can see some invisible wire tug it off, noticeable by a slight delay in the vehicle falling and the half detaching. In the second shot of it falling, you can see it being tugged as it falls to the ground.

* The rear left-hand window of the War Rig's prime mover seems to appear and disappear whenever it wants to. It can be seen several times intact, like when Furiosa steps out to complete the deal with the Rock Riders, it's all covered in dust and being very window-y, but later, Angharad is able to grab on to the door frame, which makes it clear the window is missing. I don't remember seeing anyone roll it down, or the door even having a window rolling lever, so it just kinda vanishes. How considerate of it!

* The swingy-thingy on the back of the trailer, which gets bent when they pass the rocky overhang, is back up again after they exit the canyon, in a side-shot.

* The harpoon gun Morsov fires, which is attached to the top of the fuel pod, just kind of vanishes after the sandstorm. Maybe it got blown away.

* Speaking of that harpoon gun, I noticed something weird on my first viewing, and kept seeing it pop up. I just can't unsee it. When the shot of the War Rig driving through the rocky Buzzard terrain shows up, just before the shot of the Buzzards speaking Russian in the Plymouth Rock, if you look at the harpoon gun, you can see two bizarre faded black lines emerging from the barrels. Like, imagine that the two barrels have long poles coming out of them, so they're raycast from the barrels, but they're nearly invisible. I can't fathom why they're there, and at first I figured it was just my imagination, but I see them on every viewing. Really weird. I just can't think of a special effects reason to have something there, if you were trying to digitally edit something out.

* Probably just odd editing, but Mrs. Giddy vanishes after the C-section scene. I think there's a deleted scene where Organic Mechanic kills her, which makes sense, I suppose, but he vanishes too. Did someone kill him and leave him by the side of the road?

* Some sorta fakey-looking digital effects. Some explosions look kind of bad, I remember in paticular when Slit hurls a thunderstick at the Buzzard truck while facing backwards, it's a weird, weightless explosion. Like unaffected by wind and the fact that the vehicles are moving. Also, in the swamp, even before the high ground, it's painfully obvious in a couple shots where they digitally turned the desert into a wetland.. It just fades to sand near the War Rig.

The end of the visible rope, probably part of the Rig, is amazingly attracted to the scoop of the excavator, and brings the rest of the beetletruck half along with it. It gets pulled taut just before it pulls the half-beetle off.

Just for clarification. Not, like, because I have some infatuation with getting people to believe me. As specific as that sounds. I just like posting evidence when it's available.

Not a mistake but another effects shot that annoyed me because of the cheese factor was when Coma Doof Warrior's truck is destroyed and we see the TERRIBLE CGI fake guitar and steering wheel in the middle of the screen, I saw a 2D screening so I'm guessing this works better in 3D by "jumping out of the screen" at you.

That guitar and the wheel were all filmed for real and composited in, but I agree that shot is painful to watch. Concludes the chase in a cheesy way. A complete opposite of the tanker roll in RW where everyone is left in disbelief with long shots of marauders giving up and the aftermath - that left me thinking was that chase all worth it.

Is that a stuntman flying through the air or is it just a CGI guy?
From the way Miller talked in some interviews he said they had figured out how to do some pretty crazy stunts without anyone getting hurt. If it was a real guy then I figured they softened his landing somehow.

As I could see in some pictures and behind the scene videos, the crash stunt was done separately. Then they shot the stunt of the guy flying through the air in an studio against a green screen, and mounted that image into the real crash video. Most of those stunt where filmed this way to let people fly through the air in a safe controlled environment.
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

I just watched the behind the scenes video again. There is clearly a guy laying on the track hoe and gets flung off of it. You can see him hit the dirt. I don't know if this was a dummy or a real person but it sure looks and moves like a real person.
It's on the "Supercuts" video at the 50 second mark. You can see the camera truck just in front.

If I knew how to post a shot of that scene being filmed I would but sadly I'm not smart with this IPad.

I think it's a dummy. As has been noted you can see the warboy in the behind the scenes footage as he flies off the top of the crane and lands on the ground pretty hard. It's definitely not a real stuntman as he would have been killed and as it's in the behind the scenes footage, it's definitely not CG. I think because of the nature of the shot and the fact that the vehicles had some momentum, the dummy has very believable movements and dynamics when it comes flying off the top of that crane.

It must be a dummy in a real crash shot. Now I looked at it for a time when he flies through the air, you see his arms both keep the elbows at exactly the same angle. A real person would flap or move his arms automatically to try to "keep balance"
Just my thought.

A bit about how they animated flying bodies
A CG car was used most dramatically in one scene in which a twister picks up a vehicle and a group of War Boys into the air after being nudged by the War Rig. The car is ripped apart as a stream of bodies tumble about onto other vehicles and past the camera. Early previs for the shot had the bodies as fixed figures spinning up into the air - this was based on Miller’s initial desire that they followed real dynamics and physics, since a great deal of crash reference footage the director had sourced tended to show that movement. Wood also sourced crash footage, including from Isle of Man TT motorcycle races. “If you get flung off something at high speed,” says Wood, “you have no control of your arms and legs - they fly out like a windmill, basically.”

Iloura applied that real world behavior to digi-doubles of the War Boys in rag-doll sim software Endorphin. But when Miller saw the result he felt it no longer looked right for the scene. “The reason is,” suggests Wood, “that there’s a real difference between what we know as real world actions and movie actions. We’re so used to seeing what stuntmen do in these kinds of crashes. They will take a run and jump off a bounce board and fly through the air and circle their arms and pedal their legs - it’s an exaggerated performance and totally part of film language.” Ultimately Iloura went back to Endorphin with more elaborate sims and key frame animation for the final flying War Boys shots.
