Max still has the arrow in his hand when he gets into the People Eaters truck and he slams it on the door to pop it out ( seen the movie for the 4th time yesterday )
not in his hand, but the tip of the arrow in his head magically disappears after he jumped to the People Eater's truck/limo/whatever it is.
The arrow tip indeed disappears by movie magic But he still has the arrow in his hand. He, indeed, slams the arrow back to the end where the tip is broken off by slamming his hand on the outside of the limotruck door and pulls it out. He does this as soon as he got into the drivers seat.
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.
I need to go see this again.. Each time i have viewed i haven't spotted the arrow tip protruding from his head (I need to take notice). I was just thinking when he was able to pull his hand free the whole arrow came out at the same time. I noticed him removing the arrow from his hand by smacking it on the door of the merctruck and just thought it was the whole thing.
I dont think the arrow had an actual head it was like a bolt it left a red mark on his head , it went thru his hand and went skin deep into his head ,similar to the ones that hit Morsov they had no tips / heads
If it did have a barbed head then it would have had to penetrate his skull to remain stuck while he pulled the shaft out - unlikely

This is exactly how i thought things were also. No barbed head on that arrow and it only just went into his head after going through his hand. It must have been in a lil as he did have a bit of trouble pulling his hand away but i never did spot anything protruding out as if he had snapped it off like has been spoken of. I plan on seeing it again and will keep a better look out for that on the next screening though.
Here's one , look in this scene you will see the Interceptor is missing its roof wing and the rain gutters have been smoothed out to allow the actors to skim over the top , also the boot is still full of gear and the tank wobbles when the War Boys go over the roof
The side air intakes are most likely for the REAL engine inside the war rig. It's a beast of an engine too - just not two supercharged V8s.
As for the wobbling tank on the stripped interceptor - it's not even on the right side, so I guess the warboys have detached it.
Another "blooper" that I've seen pointed out is one of Imortan's cars (beetle) over with the gastown mob. It's not an error - it's a defector! Apparently it's driver is besotted with the people eater (source:the art book).

I always figured all the stuff fell out of the trunk, er, sorry , "boot" as the car rolled 7 or 8 times. Even the fuel tank would have gotten ripped out. Then the War Boys just threw it all back in the trunk/boot before towing it to the Citadel.
