Miss Giddy

Post by Uncle Entity »

1- Why did they keep a respirator on her face during the chase scene? It's like she couldn't properly breathe anymore...

2- Why when Splendid was struggling in pain, did she watch her with a "lusty" look in her eyes and keep moving her tongue in a "lusty" way?

Giving her clean air to stay alive and not become sick given she's been sheltered and locked away from the toxicity of the wasteland because she's a human history book.

No idea on the second point. I think you're looking more into something that wasn't there.

Organic Mechanic sure did look like he had an eye on that umbilical chord though, or he looked like he bit right through it with his own mouth.

Yeah that was a scene you won't see being played out in too many flicks..

The cut scene that was mentioned has me wondering when it was to have taken place. It's crap when characters just exit the story without any explanation. We are left to wonder on Miss Giddy and Splendids fate in some ways although the way the way the organic mechanic was performing the procedure her fate was most likely sealed right there. But that also has me wondering if Miss Giddy may have insisted they don't leave her like that to die which may have lead to her demise also and this cut scene that is spoken of?? Deleted scenes on the bluray perhaps or a George Miller Director's cut. I vote the second. :D

The people who watched the early screenings might know, but my guess is that Giddy was slashed by Organic Mechanic shortly after he did the 'procedure' on Splendid. She might have gotten angry that both of them died, tried to attack, got the knife. Just a theory.
