I may not understand the languages, but of several I can make out there origin.
I searched a bit the other day and was surprised to not find an answer. If it is a regular real world language I'm sure someone will confirm it somewhere online soon.

How did Immortan Joe's mouth mask opened when he was angry because of Splendid's death ?
People have been discussing it, here's my take:

This did seem a bit odd. Perhaps it was just a stylistic choice to show his anger. That said Joe has a really bloody looking mouth, his teeth were all blood red. :o

If it is a real language, it should eventually be mentioned on IMDb. Now it says the film is only English spoken. But as you can see with other films, if there is spoken an other language, even just a few words, it will be mentioned in the films IMDb profile.
Maybe we just have to wait.

Just a thought: could it be aboriginal?
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

In that case I'll drop the Aboriginal thought. ;)
I'll have to hear it again, but it didn't sound like Russian to me. And I've heard that a lot in movies and colleagues
Lets wait for a recording.

The Boss wrote:Been following the development of this movie online since the late 1990's. I can't believe it's finally here, seen it twice now and it's mindblowingly epic! After watching all the youtube clips that came out over the past weeks, I'd thought there were a few things I'd be uncool with, but once the characters got fleshed out a bit and the story started moving along it all just clicked. Best to just strap in and go along for the ride. Plan on seeing it again next week in 3D. I have to agree Max's opening narration was poorly written (made me wince both times I heard it) and the little girl in the flashback scenes seemed out of place and silly. Hopefully they'll fix it for home release. Other than that it was an epic piece of action movie making. I say worthy contender with Road Warrior for best in series. On side note, did anyone else get a Star Wars/sandpeople vibe from those Buzzard dudes we see briefly?
yes very much like the sandpeople, even mpore like concept art of sandpeople, also Immortan Joe is almost a steampunk version of Darth Vader, when hearing George Miller describe his development saying things like "his breath mask is needed to live but also serves the purpose of looking scary", and "his armor protects him but also hides his burnt flesh" he could have been describing either character

and return of the Jedi was supposed to have a sandstorm but they couldn't get it to look right. Fury Road has effects that probably impress even george lucas.
Step right up, chum, and watch the kid lay down the rubber road, ride to freedom!

Did anyone notice?

When the redheaded girl volunteered to go down to the back of the war rig where nux was. Someone was crawling underneath the tanker.
