You know Grant, I wish you guys could get hold of the car and make tight and right and fly it home to OZ were it belongs.

I just posted something on my viewing of BoB from back in the early 80's and didn't see this thread till now. I thought it looked bad enough with how it looked after it was purchased from when i had seen it but gee it's a bloody shame to see it looking as it does.. My thoughts are it should have remained as it was bar fixing the hat and i recall the supercharger switch and gear knob were missing also. Bar that it should have been left alone!

What Grant says is law. He knows more about restoring and building cars than anyone. He did it hard, and did it before we had keyboard cowboys and the luxury of the internet to do research. If it wasn't for Grant, there would be a lot less replicas rolling around; maybe none.

Pretty funny Daz, but sorry you have NO idea on the history of what is being discussed.
And to make that statement is im sorry also very much incorrect.

Yes, it's in Florida now.

BTW, I have a question about this image, I hope you folks that know BoBs history know what's up:

Does anyone know if this is the original concept for the BoB (not the Mustang one obviously)?
Or is this Peter Arcadipane's concorde design for the XB GT before they told him to do a Panel Van for the 1977 motor show instead? I've had this pic kicking around for ages and I still don't know what's this about, any help with that plz?

What's the problem? The guy restored the car and it's brand new, so you guys are pissed? Or did he change some parts of it?
