Zarana-X, sorry, but I didn't even read your post until now! I guess four months late is better than never at all...
I'll check to see if the Destroyer still has the decals. But if I remember correctly, it was already put together. I'll let you know. If they are there I'd be glad to scan them for you.

Re: Mad Police Models
Holy thread resurrection, Batman!
Sorry for just dropping in without formally introducing myself, I will make good for it soon.
I"m part of a group of model car enthusiasts and own the Destroyer kit, while a friend of mine owns the Interceptor.
Since it is impossible (unless one is rich, what we aren't) to get all those kits together, let alone devalue them by building them,
we have plans to clone them.
We believe, the Farcon is based on a Toyota Soarer Z10.
All the base models have been reissued by Fujimi several times, however, at the moment, only the Celica XX (or Supra) is current.
The others aren't that difficult to obtain, though, and we mean in base form. So altogether four Fujimi kits are required:
- Pontiac Trans Am - this may be relatively difficult, but it could be substituted with the current Revell 78 3in1 kit if need be, since that's in reality a reissue of the 1/24 Monogram tool. But the Fujimi is actually very nicely proportioned and shaped, so well worth searching for (and consequently spending more than you intended).
- Nissan Cedric 430 - if everything fails, the same car is available as an Aoshima kit at the moment. It could even be made from the same tool, since mutual tool leasing is common practice in Japan.
- Toyota Celica XX (or Supra) - this is not at all challenging, almost boring.
- Toyota Soarer Z10 - this is a tad more difficult, but they do crop up fairly regularly on Ebay.
Please correct me if I'm wrong!
We would then try to resin-cast the extra bits from the Mad Police kits, or convince a resin caster to do it for us.
Maybe you could help us 'lobbying' the owner of The Parts Box in Australia?
Since between my friend and myself, we only have the same set of extra parts, we are looking for someone who has the 'other' set,
which was included in the Venus and Farcon kits and indeed comprises wheels in reverse Swastika design.
Suitable lightbars are currently available from Fujimi as parts packs, and the rest could be kitbashed and scratchbuilt as you like.
Whatcha think?

Hey, I think I already saw you over at http://WWW.modelcarsmag.com.
I Double checked, and the Farcon is inded a *Nissan F30 Leopard TR-X*.
The Interceptor Trans AM is a 79-80. The 81 has the same nose, but has an offset hood scoop. The Fujimi Trans Am is also available in a Testors box.
I think you have a great idea. I'd be interested in the copies if I get the money. I was considering doing he Supra as my next Replica.

Don't worry too much about the money. We aren't rich, and we have no intention to become it with this project.
This is purely done for the enjoyment of all involved at self cost, i.e. materials and postage. Unless we have to call on a professional resin caster that is.
Being a Silvia makes things a lot easier, since that one is currently available quite cheaply.

Re: Mad Police Models
For those interested, the Farcon has correctly been identified as a Nissan F30 Leopard TR-X.

It's hard to tell what the Destroyer is, but I think it might be a late 70's Ford or Mercury.

Re: Mad Police Models
I'm listing a bunch of die cast vehicles and two 'Mad Police' vehicles on Ebay shortly. I have the Destroyer and Venus models. Both are opened but unassembled. Open to offers.
I also have a DDA 1/25 Interceptor boxed and autographed by Grant Page, stunts MM 1 & 3 that I will be listing.

I have two of the four kits the Destroyer and Venus
I have found a guy in Japan who has a complete set which I obviously don't need all of ... so here's the rub ... is anyone interested in buying the Destroyer and Venus kits if I buy the set? The scarey bit is that they are US $300 for the set ... that's $US75 per kit. I'm happy to post anywhere.
Dude! Why didn't you tell me earlier? I could have thrown them in with the bike! They are at the mother inlaws.
