Update: Spent some time fixing up the rear right tyre. A bit tricky!
Used really thin wire to thread through the Tyre:

Quick Update on my interceptor. spent a bit more time with the rust. Here is a Photo of my model against a photo of the actual interceptor from the movie:
Hope its starting to look pretty close to the real thing
