Re: Did anyone here see Thunderdome in the cinema?

MM3 on the big screen in 1985 was my first Mad Max experience. As a 13yr old I was generally impressed by the overall presentation and liked the film. As an aviation fan I loved the Jedadiah plane sequences and still do. Then I saw a censored MM1 on TV in 1987 and then MM1 and MM2 uncut on VHS in 19...

Re: V8 Interceptor Fuel Tank Capacity

The range I quoted was for a maximum range assuming no SC in operation, being chased etc. etc. Basically a paper one based on continuous driving at a reasonable speed. I agree the tanks on the 1:24 Aoshima kit do seem a bit smaller than the ones in the film, maybe the tank capacity was more like 180...

Re: prohibited area

The sign I believe was a fictional one (just like the phone Johnny uses), meant to depict an area where law and order has broken down to the point it cannot be controlled anymore.

V8 Interceptor Fuel Tank Capacity

Hello, I'm sure others have wondered this but has the total fuel capacity for the MM2 Interceptor with the boot tanks ever been calculated? I decided to have a go using my Aoshima 1:24 scale kitset as a base. The kitset is 100% a 24th scale version of the XBGT Hardtop - 200mm to 4808mm which was a g...

Re: Planning trip to Broken Hill

Seriz,

Thats great! I'll review the blog you wrote as a guide. I'm looking at staying three days in Broken Hill at this point
or two days depending on how I get on with accesses etc.

Can you tell me where the Interceptor crash site is?

Re: MM2 cast reunion at WinterCon

Excellent, best part was each actor reciting a line from their character right at the end of the clip.

Re: MM1 Horn Cadence

Sounded very much like an XB Falcon standard horn to me?

I may stand corrected here but it was actually Byron Kennedy who was really the "car fan" of the two.

Planning trip to Broken Hill

Hello, I'm planning a possible trip to Broken Hill in January 2017 to visit the MM2 locations and to see a bit of the Outback. Currently I have Adrian's museum, the Silverton Highway and The Pinnacles mapped out to visit. However I'm wondering if anyone could possibly pinpoint for me the location of...

Re: Goose's burnt face cut scene (all time shock award)

This reminds me of the Star Wars fans who swear they remember seeing the cut "Biggs" scene on Tatooine, when in fact what they remember are a few shots of that scene used in the TV documentary that screened at the same time. What no one has mentioned is that it might be possible someone ha...
