Such a cult following!

It's a unique Trilogy, appealing to many different types: sci fi fans, muscle car fans, bike fans, Mel fans, brain damage fans, etc.

Actually, I'm a fan of all of those. I'm sure I'm not alone.

Mad Max I, crude and violent movie and classic

That's a very good point about vengeance, Mitch. It never can erase the deeds done and falls short of total satisfaction. The end of MM1 conveys that message.

Mad Max I, crude and violent movie and classic

I agree, the end of MM1 was a little anticlimactic. But the last bit of vengeance dealt to Johnny The Boy was sweet & entertaining.

WEZ Vs. IRONBAR BASSEY

<t>I love the idea that NightRider was a prophet, but I don't buy it 100%. I think his "unroadworthy" line simply meant those less skilled or brave on the road. "It's all gone" was his feeling after Max humbled him & ended his dream ride. His intention was to ride to his death in glory , with br...

WEZ Vs. IRONBAR BASSEY

There were plenty of bisexual flags flying in the MM series. Fifi would be last on my list of suspects. All in all, it's not a big deal to me.

Nice ramblings, Mitch. I don't see Zanetti as a potential mass murderer though. I think he'd go for quality, not quantity. The mystique of Humungous is something I've always appreciated. The character reeks of battle-scarred history.

All good points, Snowy. I think it's a great challenge met when someone has created a likeable villain. Bubba Zanetti is one of the most likeable baddies I've ever seen.

Lawful evil as opposed to chaotic evil. Pardon the D&D reference.
